Mark Simon
Mark is an experienced entrepreneur, who has been dedicated to establishing environmentally responsible, renewable energy generation in the United Kingdom since 2010. Following an early career at IBM culminating in the Chairman’s office in Armonk NY, Mark has grown a broad range of businesses through inception to market sale.

Magdalena Markiewicz
Magdalena has a wealth of international corporate finance experience having spent most of her career building capital structure solutions for companies. She has also held senior roles in several high growth entrepreneurial businesses where she established their finance functions.

Scarlett Di
Scarlett spent the past 10 years in utility-scale ESS and renewables. Having worked in the front line of development and EPC/ICP organisations, she has extensive experience and consistent track record in development, procurement and delivery of energy projects. Passionate about delivering major connections projects and constantly seeking process improvement.

Matthew Margot
Matthew has been working in the energy industry since 2009 initially in Oil & Gas before transitioning to renewable / clean energy. Since 2018, Matthew has been responsible for the asset management of sector leading energy storage portfolios with a focus on delivering market leading revenues.

Katherine Vinnicombe
Katherine is an innovative renewable energy investment professional. She has pioneered the first energy storage portfolios in a range of funding environments, ranging from institutional investors such as Foresight and utilities such as SSE. More broadly, she has 12 years experience of building, optimising and financing energy storage, solar and wind platforms.

Neil Turnbull
Neil is an experienced Project Manager across multiple utilities, including electric, gas and water networks. He has a strong background working in both ICP contestable and DNO/IDNO non-contestable works. He is used to managing multiple operative teams among different projects both in-house and from contractors.

Johannes Oos
Johannes has over 12 years of experience in utility scale energy projects including storage, solar and district heating. He has an engineering and project management background, joining Eelpower from RINA where he was heading the UK energy storage team. Johannes’ roles include the technical evaluation of new projects, procurement and project delivery management.

Michael Raw
Michael is an experienced Transmissions and Distribution Tendring Engineer with a strong background in transmission and distribution networks for renewables, utilities, and infrastructure projects. With over 12 years of experience in the GB Power industry, he excels in tender management and engineering, specialising in battery storage solutions.
Senior Asset Manager
John Lilley
John joined Eelpower from Anesco after 5 years, where he rose to lead the energy storage group, managing engineering, operations, maintenance and Route to Market functions. John took a leading role in the development of Anesco’s health and safety, SCADA and control systems.
Portfolio Financial Accountant
Kevin Denham
Kevin is a self-employed Chartered Accountant of over 35 years’ experience, having been a partner at a Top 7 firm of Chartered Accountants in transaction services and former CFO of a dual listed company. He has been engaged within Eelpower’s finance department on a consultancy basis since January 2019, responsible regular financial reporting and assisting with transactions.

Emma Beasley
Emma is an experienced Financial Controller and qualified Chartered Accountant who joined the renewable energy industry in 2014, working with the pre-Eelpower team in hydropower. She had earlier worked in various finance roles within a variety of industries.
Corporate Development Associate
Agnes Tuza
Agnes is an acquisitions professional with private equity background, a former investment banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. She has worked on renewables asset and platform acquisitions since 2017 in Europe, US and Australia, focusing on due diligence, technically complex assets and structures, making the business case for value-added sustainability-related investments underpinned by global trends and articulating these to investment committees.

Michael Philip
Michael’s engineering background led him to complete his Masters in Mechanical Engineering in 2020 before applying himself as a Design Engineer for industrial fuel storage solutions. He has followed his calling to the renewable and sustainable energy sector, where he is focusing on the technical and commercial operations of battery storage assets.
Executive Assistant & Office Manager
Laila Kreaa
Laila has over 20 years of administrative work experience, spanning multiple industries and diverse roles. She has a private equity background, having worked at Zouk Capital for over 6 years. She has also worked for the large financial institution Goldman Sachs, a blockchain and software companies, as well as various start-ups in the UK and South America.
Chairman
Stephen Partridge-Hicks
Stephen is an experienced founder and entrepreneur; with interests spanning energy, finance and hospitality. Previously at Citibank, Stephen co-founded Gordian Knot, a London and New York based fixed income and credit asset management company in 1993.
Non-Executive Director
Stuart McKee
Stuart is an ex UK and Global Head of Corporate Finance at PwC. Since retiring from the Firm in 2020, he has built a portfolio of Non-Executive and Advisory roles in the Energy, Consumer Brands, Marketing Services and Private Equity sectors.

Marcia Poletti
Marcia has deep government and strategy experience, with a career spanning energy transition policy for the UK government and Ofgem as well as energy consulting at McKinsey. She has recently joined the entech firm Octopus, where she is Head of European System Change, driving smart and flexible electricity markets.
